Beyond Survival Workshop Series - New for 2026

Sign Up Now For The Next Workshop

Each month, we explore one key element of the Beyond Survival 3×3™ — a practical, layered framework designed to strengthen sustainable human capacity.

Across the year, we move through three foundations:

Outlook — how you orient and stabilise under pressure.
Body — how you regulate and sustain energy.
Connection — how you distribute load and reinforce support.

This isn’t about fixing yourself or adding more to your list.

It’s about stabilising the foundations that shape how you think, decide, recover, and perform — in work and in life.

These sessions are structured conversations.
A deliberate pause in fast systems.

You’ll leave with greater clarity, a steadier internal anchor, and a simple way to apply the 3×3 to your real-world conditions — not ideal ones.

You can join at any point in the cycle.
Each workshop stands alone, and the series repeats — so there’s no pressure to start at the “beginning.”
Begin where you are.

Workshop 1 — Grounded Optimism: Finding Calm Perspective in a Chaotic World

Stabilise your perspective under pressure.
Understand how survival mode shapes your thinking, and learn how grounded optimism restores clarity, steadiness, and sustainable response in fast-moving systems.

Workshop 4 — In & On: What You Feed Your Body and Mind

Strengthen your regulation.
Understand how inputs — food, information, environment, and internal dialogue — shape energy and focus, and learn how small, consistent adjustments support sustainable capacity.

Workshop 7 — Family: Balancing Love, Obligation and Self

Design sustainable family rhythms.
Explore how expectations, roles, and invisible load shape your capacity — and learn how clearer boundaries and shared responsibility reduce strain at home.

Workshop 2 — Purpose: Finding Clarity in the Chaos

Strengthen your sense of direction.
Explore how purpose reduces internal friction, conserves capacity, and helps you make aligned decisions in environments that constantly demand more.

Workshop 5 — Move: Redefining Movement as Energy, Not Obligation

Reclaim movement as regulation.
Explore how rhythm, mobility, and physical expression influence mood and mental clarity — and discover how to build energising movement without guilt or overexertion.

Workshop 8 — Partner: Communication, Connection and Shared Wellbeing

Strengthen your closest support structure.
Understand how communication patterns influence emotional load, and build shared practices that protect connection under pressure.

Workshop 3 — Faith & Values: Stabilising Your Internal Anchor in Fast Systems

Strengthen your internal anchor.
Clarify the beliefs and values that stabilise you under pressure, and learn how alignment reduces strain in fast-moving systems.

Workshop 6 — Rest: The Power of Recovery and Stillness

Restore through intentional recovery.
Learn how different forms of rest support cognitive, emotional, and physical renewal — and design practical recovery rhythms that sustain performance without depletion.

Workshop 9 — Tribe: Building Your Real-World Support Network

Strengthen your external support system.
Explore how community, friendship, and professional networks distribute load and reinforce identity — and learn how to cultivate connection that sustains capacity.

Workshop 10 : The Journey So Far: Integration & Sustainable Capacity

Consolidate what stabilises you.
Review the foundations, regulation practices, and support structures you’ve strengthened — and refine the small, consistent adjustments that build long-term capacity.

These sessions are practical and grounded in the realities of modern life — high demand, limited margin, constant noise.

They’re not momentary motivation.

They’re about understanding the conditions shaping your capacity — and learning how to stabilise them before trying to optimise anything else.

You’ll leave with a framework you can apply repeatedly, not another initiative to maintain.

What to Expect

Each live session lasts between 45 and 90 minutes and takes place on Zoom, so you can join from anywhere.

In every workshop, we explore one key element of the Beyond Survival 3×3™ — a practical framework for strengthening sustainable human capacity in real-world conditions.

You won’t just reflect.

You’ll understand how that element shapes your thinking, decisions, energy, and performance — and how to stabilise it before trying to optimise anything else.

This is structured, thoughtful work designed to help you build foundations that hold under pressure.

Every workshop includes:

Clear understanding of one core capacity foundation within the 3×3 framework

Guided application to your real-world conditions — not ideal ones

A structured follow-up worksheet to help you stabilise and integrate the insight afterwards

No jargon.
No surface-level fixes.

Just thoughtful, framework-led work designed to strengthen sustainable human capacity over time.

Who It’s For

These sessions are designed for people who are capable, committed, and carrying a lot.

Professionals operating in fast systems.
Working parents balancing visible and invisible load.
Leaders responsible for others while quietly stretched themselves.

If life or work feels heavier than it should — even though on paper everything looks fine — this work will resonate.

You don’t need to be in crisis.

You simply need to be ready to understand the conditions shaping your capacity, and willing to strengthen the foundations beneath it.

The Beyond Survival workshops aren’t about starting over.

They’re about stabilising before you optimise — so performance becomes sustainable, not forced.

Meet Jo

Jo Davies is the founder of Calerae and creator of the Beyond Survival 3×3™ framework.

After 25 years in the corporate world — and her own experience of burnout — Jo began questioning the way wellbeing was being approached.

What she discovered was simple, but significant:

Wellbeing isn’t a personality issue.
It’s the outcome of the systems we live and work within.

The Beyond Survival 3×3™ was developed as a practical framework for strengthening sustainable human capacity — helping individuals and organisations stabilise foundations before trying to optimise performance.

Jo’s work bridges lived experience with systems thinking, offering a more intelligent approach to wellbeing: one that redesigns conditions rather than placing blame.

Begin by Strengthening the Foundations

Each month, I open a small number of places for those ready to approach wellbeing more intelligently — not as an initiative, but as infrastructure.

This is steady, structured work designed to strengthen the foundations shaping your capacity in work and life.

You don’t need the perfect moment.

You simply need the willingness to stabilise before you optimise.
